Utrujj may, at its sole discretion, modify or revise these terms and conditions at any time by updating the text of this page.
For our regular one day and weekly courses, the following policies apply:
cancellation by Utrujj
We reserve the right to cancel any courses or events. In the event of cancellation by Utrujj we will refund any fees paid in full but not any additional expenses incurred by you.

All cancellations will be fully refunded, except if less than 3 days notice is given, in which case a 10% fee will be charged. A separate policy applies for our special courses such as Beehive, retreats, Tajweed and Islamic finance.
All refunds will be paid to your credit/debit card via paypal if it was originally paid in this way. If method of payment was by cash or cheque, your refund will be by cheque. Please be aware that this may take up to 4 weeks.
When paying for any course or other event, service or item from our website, you will be taken to our payment transaction provider's secure page to enter payment information. We do not store any financial or payment information in our systems.
We have put into place the appropriate technological procedures and practices to protect the information which is collected when using our website.

We will obtain personal information from you when you enquire about our activities, register with us, complete online enquiry or request for services forms, send or receive any emails, make a donation or otherwise provide us with personal information. We may also receive information about you from third parties, for example from a friend who wants to tell you about the website.

Video and photography at our events and courses
Most of our courses and events are recorded on video camera and/or photographs may be taken. Some of this footage and/or photographs may be used for future marketing materials or on our website.
We will usually notify you when any images of students may be taken and you will have the opportunity to advise us if you do not wish for any image of yourself to be taken. However, if you do not wish for any image of yourself to be taken, we would advise that you let the course administrator and photographer know on the day so you can be seated in order to assist with meeting your request.
The website is designed to use 'session cookies' in order to function properly. You may use the site without cookies but some of its functionality may be lost and certain pages may not display. Cookies are used to track the use of the site and cannot be used by us to identify who you are.
feedback, surveys and follow-up communications
We may request your feedback or for your participation in surveys on the website or via email which may require both personal and non-identifiable data. Where we ask for personal information, we will use this to correspond with you directly regarding your responses. Statistical information that cannot be used to identify you may be used to assess demand for services or facilities and provide feedback to us for running and improving the services we offer. We may choose to publish non-personal and non-identifiable data on the website. It is never mandatory for you to participate or provide such information. We will not publish or share any personal data without your consent.

You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you (for which we may charge a small fee and have 40 days to comply) and to have any inaccuracies in your information corrected.
